Torchlight trampolining

In the news today was a story about how the London Olympics may have big problems with power cuts.
Just imagine it, we have Cliff Richard singing away at the opening ceremony along with the cast of Phantom while the Women's Institute march across the field waving flags and drinking tea and suddenly the whole thing blacks out...I hardly think so.
I admit I may be a little cynical but I can't imagine the Government allowing that to happen with the whole world watching.
It is far more likely that if there is an energy shortage then they would reroute some energy supplies and plunge Wales into darkness for a month or so.

On the subject of Olympics, how on earth do people get involved with curling?
I have a theory that they were in fact all previously janitors who were so good at sweeping the floor that they turned professional.

(For those of you that didn't find the humour intended in this post I should point out that there are of course hard working people who will spend the next 6 years making sure a black out doesn't happen, thank you for that Simon)
